“When I was 25 years old, I met woodcut happens to enter the gallery. I was impressed woodcut. So I decided to try to make woodcut. No teacher, I learned printmaking through self-study. Technique is a Japanese tradition. It is simple but I failed a lot. This exhibition is focused on various people. I always think about a person, а man with thinking, а man to move, а man who remember yesterday's dream, а man… We have a great sadness. It is a precious thing. The reason of my creation is to know that more deeply. I'd like to continue cherishing that in future.”
